The drop forged head is specially contoured to surround the cable before the cut is made so that the cable cannot slip from between the blades in a method of entry situation. Tubular steel handles with rubber grips provide ample leverage to cut a maximum 26mm (1”) O/D of un-armoured copper or aluminium cables.
